My polo got keyed after I'd had it for about 4 days. 
Front wing, drivers door, passenger door, back wing. like you say emoticons don't do it justice. Probably the angriest I've ever been, and the worst thing is you've got nowhere to point it. Felt like murdering someone.

VX managed fine without anything happening to it, although someone did pinch my aerial, only because it was silver and would have fitted on said Ned's chav mobile well, I am sure! 
I did however get my BMW keyed 3 times, same street every time, luckily some boot drove into the rear of me and as i hadn't bothered to get the three of them fixed, I told the guy who was fixing my car just to add it onto her bill. I would have said the mixture it being a black BM, and having private plate, someone didn't like it or me!
