Anyone heard of this hire place. Based in Glasgow. £299 for a days hire of a Gallardo or a F430 Spider :D Ok you'd end up paying additional for the extra miles but still way cheaper than I've seen previously. Odd that they've priced a 3.4 Boxter S at the same hire rate (£99!!) as an MX5 :?

It is very cheap so I am bit suspicious . Will they find some damage every time and take your £1000 deposit ?

Scathing comments there about Mr Barratt indeed!

I was speaking to the GM at Rio and he thinks his prices are cheap for hire, so god only knows how they can be doing it for nearly half!

Anyone willing to risk their money and find out?!

ah, BUT, is it the same person or just a pure co-incidence?
This could be a hard working firm trying to start off in the car-hire business!

You could be right Del, but something tells me a start up company may not have £££??? worth of cars up for hire. I'd love it to be true, but what would be the cost of a lease on a Gallardo and then insurance for the likes of us etc etc and then make a profit from £299. Suspect this may be why his other ventures have not ended well.
Thanks for the detective work Del.
