I thought that there was going to be a Duns street parade thingy? Must have been mistaken. When can we apply for the dinner and stuff?

Cheers,

Clive.

Am guessing it will be 1600 on the Sat.

Fill in form and post to Bob Dickson for application? Am sure Andrew will be along in a minute to confirm!

As the form has been posted up, I think that is a better way of picking your options for Saturday than me trying to incorporate it into a fairly full Database.

Therefore if you could please print out the Form and send it off to Bob, he will be able to see what the total numbers invoved will be.

Cheers

Might just pop along for a look on Saturday morning with Megan and head across with them to the statue, then head home. The statue is just a few miles from me.
Well it moves... might as well make the most of it....

Will the display of 60 years of Lotus cars just be Club Lotus members? Have we to fill in this form and post it off even if we're not members of Club Lotus?

I'm a wee bit confused! :? If we've said "Yes" to Show and Parade on the Sunday on Tut's database, have we still to post this form?

I will clear this point up, but we have a separate show area from Club Lotus on Sunday, the track session is separate, so I would think that the form only applies if you are taking part in Saturdays proceedings, and obviously for dinner in the evening.

So for the moment go with the above, the rest is covered for in our own Database.

I am going to assume that anybody who has their name down for Sunday, unless they have to leave before, will be doing the final Parade Lap of as many Lotus's as we can muster.

Think you only need to post if you are attending any of the events on Saturday.
Note 6 shows that SE have their own display area on Sunday.

Oopps... Tut beat me to it.

All S E members are invited to join in with Club Lotus its an open event. The more Lotus cars the better for all. Please fill in the C L form and post onto Bob Dickson.

Sorry to be a numpty - but where can I get hold of a cop yof the form to fill in. I cannot see it on the Lotus Club site yet?

Whilst I'm at it, here are some more questions:-

Is the Paxton dinner thing a black tie do, else what's the dress code (or does anything within reason go)?

Tut, any news on the camping thing at Knockhill, or would it be better to contact the circuit directly?

Whats the best thing to get the midges off my front clam whilst I'm up in Scotty land?

Cheers,

Clive.

Clive

You have to live with the midges unfortunately.

I am trying to get you one off permission to put a tent up.

Dress for Paxton is anything smarter than I would wear, so you will have no prob.

The form is actually at the top of this page, unless I am completely gaga, so you should be able to print it out and send it off to Bob.

Cheers

Bob Dickson who is organising Club Lotus events for the weekend just phoned me. He shortly has to confirm numbers for those attending Dinner at Paxton House on Saturday evening.

As detailed earlier, could those that are going to take part in Saturdays activities with Club Lotus for their Jim Clark day, and/or going to dinner in the evening, please print out the form and send it into Bob, along with the full amount of £25 as it is now almost too late for deposit only.

I have added an extra column to the Database for the Dinner, so could you please enter "yes" if you intend going along. Again this will help Bob with numbers combined with the written form.

Cheers

Even if you have already sent in a form, could you also put a "yes" in the Database column, or "yes x 2" if you are taking a partner.
