Yip, that would be me. I was elise spotting in the carpark. Also spoke briefly to a couple in a "Team Scottish Elises" branded S1 who were heading off somewhere to get another elise too!!

Wonder if that was the same couple that I was talking too - small world really, they have a TSE branded car, came up to watch a TSE driver and were rescued by an at work ex TSE driver after a "component issue"

I had my "Scottish Elises" T-shirt on to aid identification
Unfortunately it was under my Fleece and Ski Jacket
Back to the drawing board I guess

Were we not in the paddock when you arrived?
If I was getting ready to go out I could quite easily have missed you going past.

Entry won't be free at the next event in June.
One of the LCC memebers did say that they have never seen quite so many folk turn up to watch the April event - from where I was sitting I think it was mostly SE folk

I don't know why they were not charging an entry fee but I was led to believe it is normally £7. That would still be brilliant £/entertainment ratio in my book, I would happily cough up to go back.

Sorry I never got to speak to you at greater length Jim. By sheer coincidence a friend of mine was pulling up alongside me in the Audi A5 just as you came over. Wouldn't have minded a closer look at your S1 Exige too.
Never seen many Lotus's in the car park......did spot a dark grey S1 a bit further along though. Plenty of TVR's and a very nice Honda NSX as well
