Ouch indeed!

Interesting to see how the crash structure has folded at the front.

Looks nasty, but how the **** do you crash head first into a wall at what looked to be considerable speed

Only comment... that hard an impact where there is a zebra crossing and a footpath.... man's a knob...

Not wanting to jump to conclusions but, footpath = pedestrians... crossing = pedestrians..... pedestrians = town or village

High speed impact in town = wanker...
Well it moves... might as well make the most of it....

The chap was actually coming off a motorway sliproad and something failed. Unable to control it, he hit the brick wall. He had just come of the M-way, and i thought the pedestrian crossing sign was actually to the left of the car? Think he arrived at a T junction and went straight in to the wall

Very bad damage to his legs & back.

Victor - you know what they say about assumptions :thumbsup

Image

Clearly a pedestrian crossing and his smashed car in this picture, but that's not to say that the motorway slip road wasn't 100 yards behind us - urban motorway sections go straight from motorway to slip road to town.

Anyway, I'm sorry to hear about his injuries and hope he has or will make a complete recovery - lucky that no one else was involved - I wouldn't fancy being hit by an atom!

Cheers,
Robin

Pleased to hear that :thumbsup

I can't help thinking the wall (and concrete plinth beneath) looks remarkably pristine... suggests the car impacted something else first?
