Not being funny but, if it's all geniun, then that is not a car that people will go view and then take their time to decide on....

It'll be gone before you even arrange a date

Agreed. Alan has been buying damaged/Insurance write off Elises at that price, then repairing them and selling them on.

It really does not matter if it is a CAT D at that price, though there is no mention of that, it has reached as low as it can go.

I still think that the S1 Elise will be one of THE Classic Cars in the future, and that we are fortunate to have coincided with its time line.

tut wrote:Seconded. If genuine it is one of the last made, looks in good nick and well looked after, the hardtop can be sold for £750, and if I did not have two already I would buy it for the kids when they get older.

Great 21st birthday present for Clare.

Cannot believe that it has not already sold.

On the other hand it's 10 years old and they didn't cost much back then, so depreciation still isn't that bad at £5K
cough

yes it bl**dy is

they cost as much as £25k (OK 9 years ago!) and whilst annual amortisation of approx £2k may not be bad by many cars' standards, visualising it as £20k is quite eye-watering for certain mere mortals ;-)
