Advice needed for sale of S1

Post by MRpunchinella » Mon Nov 17, 2008 12:36 pm

:(

The last posts i placed were with regards to putting the S1 into deep sleep as work has taken me away. It has become apparent that this will be much longer than anticipated and the S1 should move on to a good (and more used :oops: ) home. I have one year to pay on it and I wonder what folk think;

1 - sell, clearing outstanding finance (in the new year? summer convertible?)

or

2 - hold one year then sell.

Im honestly not thinking of the cash as a priority, a few quid would be good obviously but I have another car coming for me being away so its not important. The car will be priced to 'go' (I think :scratch )but Im thinking of the crunchy pennies for folks out there in the new year. If I couldnt get it away then no problem, it will go back into storage, I would rather it find a home to be used. It will be a 99 with full MOT, 6 months tax, 4 as new TR1s. late 60000 mileage and I think she is in good clean nick. Ive hardly used it, never tracked it or even got angry with it, much to my disgrace :|

Im honestly looking for some advice, hold and wait or sell in the new year to clear. Keeping is an option but it will be under a cover in a garage till :?: :?: :?: :?:

Any ideas?

Don't forget to add on £2k to the price before you tell VXJon how much you want for it... :thumbsup

Apparently all cars are worth about £2k less than their owners think.. :roll:
