French Translation Favour (NLC)

Post by gorrie » Mon Feb 09, 2009 9:16 am

Having been in the German class at school... I am utterly useless at French (and German come to think of it).
My car is getting picked up tomorrow evening by a transport company & the buyer has asked me to sign the attached Certificate of Sale & just pop it in with the rest of the paperwork.

Can anyone tell me what it says? I don't want to be signing something which opens me up for liability if they have any problems with the car in France. Originally, the chap said he'd send through an English translation as well, but it hasn't arrived...

Any help from you bi-linguists much appreciated...

Andy.

I tried Babelfish... but it was still a bit unclear to me... the 2nd paragraph seemed to be going on about the seller having 15 days to sort something if the registration was a duplicate ????

I am new to this forum but French :wink:
There is noting wrong with this certificate, it just a sale certificate like normal ones in France.
We have to produce it to do the immatriculate the car

She left last night in her Race Shuttle. :(
Chord... It's a chap called Olivier who has bought her. I've been promised some pictures of her on track in the near future. :)

To gorrie;
Do you know how many "olivier" live in France ? as many as "Oliver" in UK (i suppose)

Christophe, that was actually meant to read that I had no intention of selling mine. If ever I had to sell I would be happy that they went to an enthusiast where ever they lived.

N3 TUT is a LHD car with a S/C Honda engine, so it would be worth more in Europe than in the UK anyway.
