Sorry to hear this ......
You may wish to remind the police and the helpful farmer it is a summary offence under the Road Traffic Act for a farmer/anyone to leave mud on the road.
Basically the farmer/builder/whoever has a duty to brush the road at the end of the working day as well as deploying appropriate warning signage throughout the working day. If if is proven that Verian left the road as a result of mud/debris coupled with no warning signs.....(try some of the claims companies who just love this!!)
Hope that makes sense.........

Oh now that would be worth chasing...
Dont talk to me about farmers and subsidies.
Well it moves... might as well make the most of it....

Tut,
Please pass on my best wishes to the Mrs, I hope she has a speedy and uneventful recovery.
You and your family don't like a quiet life, or so it seems.
Mr Boag is on the money with the mud/signs/road cleaning post........but that's something for a later date!
Take care

Is it worth getting some photos sooner than later... as evidence if required?

Better news as they got their report a little wrong. The two compacted vertebrae were actually the cause of the wedge fracture, so really only one injury.
Verian decided that she was fit to leave Hospital this afternoon, so Ian went in to pick her up. Now got her safely wrapped up in bed with a hotty bottle, some chicken soup, and watching a Lost video. So no change in her viewing taste.
She asked me to thank you all for your good wishes and get betters, but that it still does not guarantee a tuttowers 2010.

We have seasons 1 - 4 in case she is missing any
As for TT2010, nothing in life is ever guaranteed. So we'll just keep chipping away on that one, tell her

Likewise, just read the thread, sounds like Verian is on the mend but suggest you keep feeding her copious amounts of chocolate........
