Time for a new monitor... (NLC)

Post by Rich H » Tue Jun 27, 2006 10:05 pm

Gents,

My elderly 17" CRT is misbehaving, it keeps degaussing itself and I suspect that it is on its last legs.

Any suggestions for a budget replacement or anyone got one lying about they don't want?

I got a 15" sony CRT you can have for free if you want, it's pretty good (apart from the size) but I don't have much use for it. Better than nothing anyway, so give us a shout if you'd like it.

Likewise, I've got a 17" CRT gathering dust in my garage

A variety of 20/21" "desk-busters" available for collection from Edinburgh FOC. They are not new but at least one of them still had very sharp focus last time I turned it on. The problem with these feckers is they are massive.

These are all Ilyama CRT's not LCDs.

Cheers,
Robin

I like the idea of a "Desk buster" but my 17 incher (!) is pushing the limit on my issue desk....

I'll take the 17" cheers Ross!

Let me know where you live, and I'll come collect it Thanks! :thumbsup
