Bloody Wide!!! I was pretty gentle on the test drives. It is getting a timing belt service early next week (err.. No, not at MMC) and should be ready for me next weekend. I will stick some pics in the Gallery when it arrives. :D

where does the GT3 fit in in the Esprit family? When I were a lad, the model out at the time was the V8 S4, with swoopy wing :love

Cheers Greg,
The GT3 was introduced as the 44k 'entry level' car made between '97 and '99 when the alternative was the V8. It was the final derivitive of the lotus 4 cylinder turbocharged car. It was marketed as being the 'stripped down' or 'drivers' version of of the car with special lightweight bits n bobs. Standard car has 240BHP, this one has has some engine and ECU work and should have 280BHP. Lotus claim a 0-60 of 5.0s and a top speed of 168mph. The V8 swoopy wing on this one was an optional extra at the time. Apparently it can drive under water and fire torpedoes as well. Cool or wot!! :D
