Searched and searched and only found one with Brian in it taken at Crail.

Can't believe this. I only found out a few weeks ago that one of my colleagues at work knew Brian through Scottish Enterprise. We'd planned on inviting Brian to our next works karting night.

I'll never forget Brian hooning around KH in the Jag Because he didn't have time to go home to get the Liz.

Lovely, lovely guy. We'll miss you Brian.

Just read this , and cant believe it, shocked.

Not much I can say that has not already been said, what a gent, many memories, from karting to knockhill and the odd road run.
A top karter I have to say, we "shared " the same bit of track on almost every race we in, last time was only last november, when we were 4th and 5th.
I think Brians Noble was the only car that gave me a sore neck, awsome car , when it worked.

A sad loss, karting nights out will not be same without the touch of class that he always added.

That's a good one of Brian and Linda with Walshy peeking over the hedge.

I've stuck a zoomed crop of that photo of Brian and Linda in the first post - not brilliant quality, but until we get a better one.

Mags phoned me last night to tell me the sad news.I was stunned......

Nicer gent you couldent hope to meet, he had real enthusiasm for all aspects of driving road, track or karting. Often bumped into him at events and he always had time for a chat . We often had tussles at karting which ended up very close lap times between us which became a bit of an on going laugh. If I remember right the last kart night we were at, at Karting Indoars he picked up 3 points for going rather quickly on the Edinburgh bypass.

RIP
Brian

Mac rang me last night and gave me this sad news. I, like you, am really shocked as I did not know he had been ill.

Whenever I go to a trackday, inevitably I am excited about driving on track again, but the real enjoyment is meeting up with friends. Brian was one of those and I was always pleased to see his name on the drivers list.

He always made a point of encouraging my driving. "I was watching you at MacIntyres and you were taking that beautifully" and so on. His own driving was super smooth...and quick.

Rest in peace, Brian.

Jonathan

For someone who never you him, makes it that bit sadder as he looks so young. Clearly should have had a lot of years ahead of him.

Just read this. Brian was such a nice bloke and I will miss him greatly. Always very cheerful & helpful.

I don't know driving in another way which isn't risky. Each one has to improve himself. Each driver has its limit. My limit is a little bit further than other's.

Brian was actually the closest one to me in age on the Forum and had recently turned sixty.
