Mass,
I'm almost lost for words!
You need to look after the Exige for the next few weeks or this one will end up a Frolic Frog!
Good luck with your new car/toy/thing

The police noise tested the car. It read 99.8 db at idle and 105 db at 3000 rpm. The sound is very deep so it may sounds louder that it really is. In any case, the unmarked police spotted me in no time. I really could do without the hassle of being stopped. The pipe looks to be about 4 to 5 inch thick from the engine all the way to the rear silencer with approx 6in opening (no cat or mid silencer).
Do you know where I can get the bung?
4" or 5".

3" can look pretty big. It's internal diameter. Tailpipe looks 5" or 6"
I had my bung made by Meercat and it was an excellent job. Cost about £25 if i remember correctly. Like I said I kept the 3" internal diameter so that it did not restrict flow and cause issues and also so that I can leave it in all the time.
Even a straight through mid silencer or silenced decat would help too. Mine measured 107dB at Oulton the day I did not get on but have the permanent bung in now and it's usually under 105dB's.

I don't know driving in another way which isn't risky. Each one has to improve himself. Each driver has its limit. My limit is a little bit further than other's.

I'd recommend meercat too, made an excellent job of an exhaust with silencer bypass valves for my mates 360

Love that shape of RX7, I've always wanted one but have been worried about the rotory engines. Saying that if I ever did buy one and the engine blew I'd get a V8 conversion done to it. Must say I prefer sandard bodywork but they do need a nice set of wheels to set them off.

Not sure how you would fit in Mass

(that's why I think Mike will do fine, that and his lack of imagination).
