all great advice, just a wee proviso that just because the cars coming from an OPC don't assume it will be great, I looked at 13 turbos before buying mine, from opc's, indies and private and there was no set reason to what was good and what wasn't and eventually bought one from Leeds OPC. I also bought my first Carrera 2 from another OPC over the phone due to their stringent tests etc and only because i had something in writing did they then change it for another 5 months later due to it not being of a very high quality! To be fair they sorted me out with a newer higher spec car at no cost to me but just goes to show there are ones that get through their net too and don't know how helpfull the would have been had i not had the note :o

Thanks very much for the info guys, much appreciated!

I have sold the Exige to a buyer down in London, he picks it up on Thursday.
Also secured a C4S from Kenny Dunn in Edinburgh so am hoping to pick it up after my last practise run @ Doune on Saturday.

I already think i'm going to miss the Lotus too much, can see me back at Murray's sooner rather than later!

Craig,

Looks nice mate, glad to see youve got the sports exhaust, car will sound great and you wont be disapointed (once you re calibrate yourself from the initial calmness at sensible speeds compared to the exige). Was kind of hard to tell from the angle of the pic but is that a short shift box aswell?

Dont know how he does it but KD always seems to know the best cars around that are coming up for sale so would like to think your in great hands.

cheers

perfect topic. Have been thinking about either an Exige or a C4S. I just can't live with my 123 coupe anymore.

Anyone know how running an RS4 compares with these 2 cars as thats my other thought.

rs4 similar costs, brakes are expensive to replace as are 19" tyres. Was getting low 20's normal running but worth looking into DRC problems (fancy shocks) as i don't know if they've fixed that problem yet. Certainly used to be very hard to sell if spec was wrong, eg if you have a multi function wheel it was a big downer and seats were down to personal choice, fancy ones looked great but had bad wear rate, normal recaros were good but didn't look as nice or have the blowup bolsters and also had to have tech pack (sat nav). Lovely car, disable the vacumn lines on the backboxes (2 minutes) and they sound ace :thumbsup
