Flat Battery

Post by Clarkie » Sat Jul 15, 2006 1:00 am

Hi All, Just returned from holiday to find after 2 weeks hols the battery was flat. Lotus assistance via the AA was very good and arrived after 45 mins to get things going again. After 30 mins driving all was well back to starting 1st time. :D

Will need to look at intelliget chargers if leaving car unused for period again

Cheers

Never been a problem for me on 'newish' Elise/Exige. Left them for 2 weeks no problem (even in winter) and battery always ok.

Maybe something left on? or a dodgy battery? sat around in the showroom for a while?

Cheers,
Ali

Never had that happen to me either. If it has been sitting in the showroom then that's possible as mine was awful to start with when I first got it. It would stall every time I slowed to less than 10mph!

Flat battery returns

Post by Clarkie » Mon Jul 31, 2006 9:21 pm

Flat battery returned with avengence yesterday. Has been fine since I got back from hols but didn't use car Saturday. Sunday morning it wouldn't go much to the amusement of my Cayman S owning neighbour.

MMC sorted me with a coffee and car with a battery. All well :thumbsup

Hope it starts tomorrow

Drive more, she is an attention whore. If you ignore her she goes off in a strop. Give her a good whipping now and again and she'll always be up for more... :sex

As for the car, get a charger

Does something seem odd about that... MMC getting something right for a change, maybe Paulines back... no, that would never happen, shame.
Well it moves... might as well make the most of it....

Graeme was a bit stressed when I was in today. Roger is on holiday so he was juggling everything trying to get sorted for the month end. Then he was thrashing Aston's and Elise's up and down for most of the time I was there, must really be the worst job in the world
