It's all been said already, but I'd just like to add my thanks also to Tut and Verian for letting us all invade their house. It was my first full TT and it was great :thumbsup ! You're fabulous hosts, the food was wonderful and all in all it was an amazing weekend! Sad that it'll be the last, but as Shuggles said, what a way to finish!

Thanks Verian (and Tut  ) you're both amazing :thumbsup :cheers

Last minute pax... my mate Ian. Not sure he would be into it seeing as he has spent the last two years telling me how nothing could take the place of his Fireblade. I took the risk and gave him a drive during the weekend. Suffice to say I have just got off the phone with him telling me all about the burnt orange Exige he has fallen in love with on Piston Heads. We then spent half an hour discussing what his SE name would be and what he would call himself. Look out for the "Silver Fox".

This "game" is obviously addictive. Im fairly certain our two wheeled friends know how good the Fireblade is so all the more impressive that he has turned away from the "dark side".

He also mentioned to me that in no way could any bike club he has been a member of compare with the group he has just spent the weekend with.

kudos to you all but mostly to Tut, Verian, and family for really making this the kind of event which can make a grown man decide to spend £18,000 after a couple of pints and a drive of a little two seater.

thx guys and feel free to stop in on my Mum any time you pass Dundonnell.

How much did spending the night in a double bed with him have to do with that Gav?

Thanks to Tut, Verian, Claire, Ian, Luke ... and of course Khan for the fantastic hospitality and organisation.
This was the first, and sadly last, full TuT Towers that I've done .... what a brilliant weekend :thumbsup

My son, Tony, also enjoyed it enormously. I hope he didn't cause anyone too much of a problem by repeatedly missing gear changes  on the main straight at Knockhill or spoiling anyone's lunch by leaving his breakfast in Applecross :D

Just finished the final clear up of the house, boiled up about ten gallons of stock from all the carcasses, opened a bottle of bubbly with V and sat down to listen to the budget, and proceeded to spill the glass over my Netbook, as I have no control over my extremities.

Put it out in the sun for a couple of hours, but it will not even power up. Will look at stripping it down as it has almost become an extension of my right hand, would be lost without it.

Any chance of a recovery from anyone with experience of doing a similar dickhead thing?

Dad have Luke bring my one home with him next time he is back and have that. He never did pay me any money for it so you can have it.

I know that he wants a full laptop running Windows, and the account that we have been paying in what we owed him has just finished at £2,100, so he could buy one from that.
