Sorry think Hambo might have been a tad sarcastic there, nobody can autotest an elise quite like him, possibly Dominic but don't tell him that or his head will explode.

If we can organize for a Sunday, I might be able to convince Elaine to get involved.

Check on all of the above.
It's an Mr2 roadster. Not the lightest thing in the world but goes alright.

Yeah, sarcasm was because a few Elises turned up at autotests in the past (me included) and struggled in some areas with not enough weight over the front wheels and decreed a 7 was a better tool for autotesting and lost interest. Hambo then buys an Elise, puts about 900psi in the rears and proceeds to make us all look like the idiots we were...

Perfick. RWD is where the fun's at. ...and if it's one of the early LSD versions of the Roadster that'd be even more perfick

o/t but I'm curious... what's the f:r weight distribution of an S1 with a driver sat in it? There's a common misconception that 7s are front-biased or 50:50, but in fact the bias is approx 48:52 sans-driver with 1/2 tank of fuel, and quite rearward with driver (around 45:55 f:r with an average weight driver and 1/2 tank fuel *).
* not that you'd have half a tank at a 'test!

F'kin horrendous IIRC... Issues with slapping a FWD powerpack in the back of a car - engine's too far back and, importantly, too tall.

Cheers Shug, am glad somebody explained the Hambo thing, unfortuanetly being still quite a newbie, sarcasm in relation to people / events I havent met yet just goes over my head.
Took one piece of advice though, take a foot pump to the autotest and get the old legs pumpin
cheers

Dom, now that you have the perfect tow car, fancy getting together to buy an autotest shared shed. Nothing spectacular, just £500ish worth that me you Hambo and anyone else can take turns destroying and repairing at Domsport.
Or is repairing the landy a full time gig?
