I'm in pretty much the same situation, from APCOA as well. I've had two letters from Roxburghe also and the second threatening legal action, Graham White, I think. Have also done some research and a few have suggested Graham White is the same company as Roxburghe. Not sure who they think they are, but are getting bugger all of my money and I am ignoring them as well.

A chap I worked with racked up over £17,000 in fines from the same people and hasn't paid a penny. They sent him similar letters and I think have now given up.

I'll let you know if I get anything else of much interest from them.

Came back from my hols last week to find the letter threatening legal action from Graham White Solicitors with one Michael Sobell's signature at the bottom. Think that's 4 in total now including Roxburghe and not one has even been sent recorded or registered. The latest was clearly made using a standard template with a photocopied signature on cheap paper I wouldn't even wipe my arssssse on  I'll file it alongside the remainder and carry out in ignorant bliss

I was given a ticket 2nd July at Livingtone, it says I was not parked in a designated bay! I left for annual holiday the next morning and had no time to do anything, I don't know if they have written to me or not as I moved house all in the same week!

Please tell me I am correct in thinking that parking spaces are highlighted with white lines??

Whilst not alwasy feasible, if you have a camera / cameraphone handy, get a shot of how your car is supposedly "incorrectly parked" before leaving. Might be handy if they really pressed you and you wanted to actively dispute.

But as has been suggested earlier, avoiding contact at all seems the best way.

A stark warning for users of the "free" Livingston car parks, though. We are over there from time to time so I will brief Lisa to take care and watch for over-zealous ticketing!

Note that APCOA also look after Edin Airport car parks, certainly the multi-storey. Take care when screeching to halt at 6am, bleary-eyed and dashing for a redeye flight...seems it could cost you more than the already exorbitant £19.50 for a day's covered parking!!

Got pretty much the exact same Graham White legal action crap, who falls for this!
Was speaking to the chap I worked with and they went down the exact same route with him and then gave up after about 6 months.

I would ignore anything from APCOA/Roxburghe with regards to parking tickets. I don't think you're likely to be in any great trouble from Private car park enforcers.
Loads of info about APCOA and Roxburghe online if you have a quick google.
