Be aware that you're about to enter a strange parallel world where paying £60 to give someone you dont like a meal and drink is deemed "quite reasonable"

Focus ST estate, i3s and more pushbikes than strictly necessary.
....did i ever tell you about the Evora and VX220 i used to own?

We are looking for something like a castle or country house with nice views, within 1hr30 of Glasgow(maybe further for the right place) something unusual would be good with space for a marquee if needed, open to suggestions really!?
We've gone for something a bit different with the Ubiquitous Chip, in November, would be ok for the 80 but wouldn't work for 150.

Thats the advantage of smaller venues.

Ive got no problem telling people they wont be coming, especially when you put it like that.
some serious money to be made in the wedding industry, places are fully booked out up to a year and a half in advance, charging packages at £5k and can go up to £20k without even trying hard!

Being pikey, Wendy and I went abroad on our own to Mauritius, had the ceremony on the beach and came back married.
Wedding cost about £400 on top of the cost of the holiday and it was sunny
Our neighbour's daughter got married last month in one of those £30k+ weddings.. it rained.
Other neighbours got married at Guthrie Castle (previously mentioned) and it was fab.

I did warn you, didn't I?!!

when we had our meeting to discuss what food and drink was to be served at our wedding, Alan couldn't believe he was the only person in the room (there were 7 of us there) that didnt think £3.50 was an acceptable price to pay for one chocolate covered strawberry!!

(bearing in mind this was 3 years ago).
BTW, never ask him about this, he'll get wound up all over again, isn't that right Chris?!!
Good luck Phil!
