One offer is described as 'sports ratio ' other one not so I suspect will be long ratio. Just can't remember which is which.

Both cars have Sports Pack, just that one has Tech Pack. According to the Lotus Website it does not specify the Sports Pack as having a CR box.

Time to change then eh?

douglasgdmw wrote:Yep me too, just emailed Brandon about a price to change to see if it financially viable (as have Starlight black as well)

Just wondering what the catch is - could something major be happening at Frankfurt with the Evora? (except the GTE)

Cheers

We are the only dealer in the country with this offer and there are only two left, available for 61 plate registration. You would be the first keeper. The front clam and rear bumper of the 2011 car look identical to the 2012, so no facelift. Just a great opportunity for a deal on a new Evora!

George, the black definitely has a sports close ratio box, and I am 99% certain the Aspen White does as well but can get back to you on that.

I would re-iterate, there are only 2 cars left...

As a dealer this must be the trickiest situation possible.

Customer buys a new car, you sell same new car with huge discount 12months after, customer wants trade in against discounted car.

Must be nigh on impossible to deliver that news without offending :blackeye

Just read that Lotus will be bringing out an improved Evora with 143 improvements to existing model. No change to looks but has improved cabin (which looks good) and lots of changes to up the quality and right previous criticisms.

Details and pics: http://www.autocar.co.uk/car-reviews/lo ... -my12.aspx

:thumbsup

edit to add: I don't think the changes are enough to warrant not going for the MMC offer as I guess its all fairly minor stuff and hard to see that it would be worth missing out on an £8k saving

Sounds like that new German bloke is making his mark at Hethel. Bodes well.

Agree as the offer that Brandon is doing is a major saving on the MY 11 list price for very little significant improvements in the MY12 car. I have passed on the offer but only because my Evora is relatively new and it did not make sense once we looked into the details.

However, if this offer came up a year + bit ago then I would have been banging down MMC's door to get the saving. So looks like someone will be getting a brand new Evora at a very, very good price.
