Anyone at the Ring August 28th ?

Another sad story I'm afraid.

On Sunday 28th at 18:40 a biker was fatally injured in a crash at Klostertal (on the way up the big hill not far before the Karrussell). A number of cars arrived moments after the crash and stopped, one of these was a dark (maybe black?) Elise or Exige & thought likely to be UK reg.

We're trying to trace the occupant(s) of that car and any of the others. There is no suggestion of involvement in the incident, the request is for the benefit of the family as so far there are no direct witnesses and they would like to understand what happened.

The rider was a friend of friends, if anyone can help put us in touch with the Lotus please let me know.

Hey Dave,

I was at the Ring that day and have the black Exige which was pictured on a Pistonheads thread "Were you at the Ring"

Unfortunately I didn't know anything about the accident you mention until now. We did our last lap around 18.00pm, went for a coffee and heard it had closed again and it never re-opened.

I didn't see any other UK registered Elise/exige in the carpark that day though.
