ps I was a few feet behind Cammy a couple of miles short of KH when he wrote his first Elise off. The only thing that amazed me was that he had not done it in the previous 50 mile run

You crack me up

I was a bit green in those days and hopefully learned my lesson
I'll be sticking with the 340R for the forseable future but you know me, never rule out a new toy. Would need to be something seriously quick though. Saying that i think no matter what you have you will always get used to the power and think you want something quicker. I think some good driver training will benefit me more than a quicker car.

Seems ages since we had a road run together Cammy, time to put that right.
Still remember tt 2001, you were leading and I was behind you in my replacement 3,000 mile Elise aquired three days before, on one of the back roads near Dufftown, when you accelerated and threw up the biggest stones/mud etc blast I have ever seen.
That was the start of the disappearance of paint from the front clam, and of course, a cracked screen.
