My 1st Walshy day

Post by Kinger » Mon Nov 28, 2011 3:14 pm

Well that's my first Walshy day in and it won't be my last, it became obvious I've got so much to learn. I feel I came away a lot better in several area's but I sure have room for improvement in many other area's. Going through the high speed bend with one finger on the steering wheel was a huge eye opener, it really let me see my vice like grip on the wheel is the wrong way to go. That said I had a big moment on the High speed bend when the rear driver side Toe-link let go, do know if my big slide was the result of the toe link letting go or the cause of the failure. Andy was great and got Emma to drop of a Boxter so I could complete the afternoon session.

It really was a fantastic day and would recommend it to anyone who hasn't been to Car Limit's before. I'll be back again that's for sure.

For anyone who has not been, you honestly cannot comprehend how average a driver you are until Andy gives you a little taste of what you may be able to achieve. Completely changed the way I think about driving and made me much quicker through consistency rather than any real talent on my part.
Well it moves... might as well make the most of it....

I highly recommend the Walshy day, it certainly helped me control the 160 infront of the cops last year  :damnfunny

Yip it's like learning to drive again or it was for me at least :)

It will be great if AndyG & Walshy can get a venue to run the airfield training days up here :thumbsup

Best driving day I've ever had for sure. Well worth the trip and the cost in my book.

Did North Weald in a BMW courtesy car last year. Def in for more if there's a venue up here.
