Nice to have a character back - though his press release quotes are so verbose they can't have come from his lips!

However, it's a pity drivers like Senna and Grosjean (especially Grosjean) have to be sacrificed... they both deserve race seats over some drivers on the grid, including some of the next wave of Red Bull juniors Marko is reportedly juggling into seats. What with de la Rosa also coming back and Barichello grimly digging his fingernails into any steering wheel he can grab, you have to feel sorry for the young guys.

Time for a bit of spring cleaning through some of the mid-field and back-marker teams, but it just doesn't look like it's going to happen any season soon with the testing restrictions.

How nicely put!

I can't help but think that Barichello and Schumi should walk away before they completely ruin their previously impressive reputations.

Barichello has a reputation?
I thought he was the guy that did ok at Ferrari in Schumacher's shadow, in what was probably the best car on the track,
then did ok at Brawn in Button's shadow, in what was probably the best car on the track with some mediocre performances in between.
Well, other than being a nice guy, and running really well in Brazil of course.

I suppose he's another DC, except that crazy dave knew when to quite - just before Red Bull got a really, really fast car
'16 MINI Cooper S - Family fun hatch
'98 Lotus Elise - Fun day car
'04 Maserati Coupe GT - Manual, v8, Italian...
'18 Mazda Mx5 - The wife's, so naturally my daily
'19 Ducati Monster 797 - Baby bike bike

I think Barichello's been underated his whole career.
Second to Shumacher by no means make you a poor driver, and I seem to remember him having to move over to let schumacher past more than once.
Got to say I also disagree with being in Buttons shadow at Brawn. Button was loosing form and Barichello was starting to put pressure on him, the controversial pit stop strategy in Spain handed Button the win and more or less the title.

Great news, was hoping he'd return. As said already he's a good character to have in the sport and should make things more entertaining for next year.

Love the "I was having a sheet" clip. Just watched it a good few times there!

Although Kimi is a driver with balls, I never really liked him first time round....time for some young drivers to take their place

Kimi didn't hit that bairn :?

It was the stupid woman who was ramming a lever arch folder (wtf?) between child and fast-walking Kimi which caused the wee one's demise....

To be paired with Grosjean next year. Petrov and Senna out on their ear

Great news. Grosjean deserves a seat and proper crack at it.

The romanticists will be dissapointed to not see the Senna helmet in a black'n'gold Lotus though. All of a sudden Toleman/Benetton/Renault/Lotus seem awash with cash if they're dropping Petrov's cheque book!
