Gordon was taken out badly in the second race, and I did not think that they would get his car rebuilt for the third.

However he started in 15th place, made his way upto 3rd, which made Team Halford 1,2,3, so tactics came into it, they let him lead for a lap as he had fastest lap, so that would give him max points for second place, whichn is where he finished, but they had to give Matt Neil max points to ensure that he wins the Championship.

ps forgot to say that it was great to watch, load of bleeding nutters, looked like Stock Car racing at times, and far more entertaining than F1.

Gota feel sorry for the privateers it already costs them big time but if they step up a notch and mix it with the big boys its dodgem time and noway can they support that
they also dont get engough coverage ie pit chat with j hughes on why he pulled out, more coverage for the smaller runners may also help with sponsers and make the series a bit more intresting
Less dirty tatics may help too

Sarah Playfair had a mixed weeekend in the formula fords. Problems in qualifying left her 8th on the grid for both races. In the first race she came through to 4th setting fastest lap along the way, only 0.1s behind a defending third place runner. In the second race, she was looking menacing but spun into clarks whilst overtaking, beaching herself on the gravel. Unlucky not to have been on the podium for both races as certainly had the speed.

And then on came Colin McRae to show how not to slide a 911 through Clark

It did only rain for about 5-10 minutes though, can't complain about that.
