Chris Evans

Post by Gareth » Fri Jan 13, 2012 3:15 pm

I like the guy especially with his huge interest in cars.
He mentioned today that's he's bidding for a Fiat van "with history" at a Paris auction in February.
Can't find any info on it.
Just curious really. Anyone know what he's talking about?

Always fancied an Alfa Montreal since I had one as a Matchbox model. Must however be red for me:

His two books are worth a read, very entertaining. He freely admits he went off the rails.

The mans also got taste, last year he bought an immaculate red Elan +2S from Paul Matty, and rates it in the "top 5 of cars he has owned" ! Says he has already covered over 3,000 miles since he bought it!

A man of taste? Anyone who buys a bunch of classic Ferraris and paints them all white has no taste whatsoever or any appreciation of classic cars. Its like he gone through a google list of the worlds coolest cars and just bought them all.
Willy waver of the highest order.

I did love The big breakfast and dont forget your toothbrush and but that was cheesy fun, just like his car collection.

I think his children in need money can't buy offer every year for members of the public to drive all his cars to Goodwood is fantastic, it shows how he actually likes to use the cars and not just have them sitting about gathering dust.
