In 1972, a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground. Today, still wanted by the government, they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire...the Scottish Elises .
I will get my coat .

How about:
A collection of mainly Lotus sports cars owners with common interests in track days, road runs, camping trips and good humoured banter. Although we're called the Scottish Elises we have members the world over!

Don't forget emergency MOT maintenance, supporting the police through regular donations (£60 at a time!) and working hard to improve the environment by running fuel efficient cars without cats
Scottish Elises: A loose group of keen car enthusisats who own and maintain a variety of sportscars throughout Scotland. The group members organise regular road trips, meets, camping trips and events, including the legendary Tut Towers and Mexi Towers meets of recent years. The group has been around since (Date of SE1 start?) and is welcoming and supportive of new owners, proving an invaluable resorce of information and mechanical support, with members assisting each other to get the best from their cars. If you own a sports car in scotland and are interested in joining in please pay them a visit at

Now I like that
http://www.scottishelises.com rules
You don't have to be Scottish
and you don't have to have an Elise
other than that it's all very easy going
