They were apparently apologetic when they pulled one of our group (not me) on the way home from TT, just north of Abz. No NiP though.
It was all your fault !
Also there was no NiP as we weren't speeding, or even close to speeding when pulled.

Focus ST estate, i3s and more pushbikes than strictly necessary.
....did i ever tell you about the Evora and VX220 i used to own?

Still no NIP's on any TT's as far as I know, just on the way there, or on the way home.

Bloody typical, no problems on the back roads when we were really moving, but once on the main routes you just can not chance it.
Mind you we should be thankful that it is that way around.

Indeed, although I did have a local copper having words with me on the back roads during TT. I was of course suitable diplomatic

Slightly off topic, but what's the punishment for... let's say, someone driving around in a car, including a trip to Silverstone and back, with no MOT for maybe 10 weeks or so, assuming some of the motorway mounted cameras can check for such things...?

Prison I'd reckon.....
Seriously though, I think the ANPR cameras in patrol cars are the only ones that can take action. I could be wrong but I think you'll be fine.

Pretty sure they don't check for MOT with ANPR. You're in trouble if you're in a smash, as a valid MOT is a requirement for insurance, so your essentially driving without insurance. Going from the average episode of Traffic Cops the penalty handed out by the courts seems to be a slap on the wrist for the first 1000 offences, followed by a 6 month ban, which you can completely ignore.

Well, nothing through the post yet anyway..
Back to commuting in the Elise, the way the weather has been this year, at least it's getting some use now!
Also bought a whiteboard from Tesco to stick in the garage and keep track of dates and such, in case, errr, I ever do it...
