So how have they made the same engine that is the evora sound soooo good? Mine sounds like a sewing machine, 1st thing I need to sort out is the exhaust. Would be curious to know the make up of the exhaust, have they ditched the cats on the manifold?

Congratulations Sandra and George, interested to see what colour you went for in the end (or to see who won the battle but I have a fair idea  (Thankfully my new JCW Mini Roadster will be here before March - not sure I could have put with up with the Z4 for that long) :D

Karen

PS - I got the swimming pool and jelly story that Craig and Derek discussed explained to me as well

Karen,

Options still to be finalised. And here's hoping I don't need the pool or the jelly.

Sorry to hear the Z4 wasn't a winner. But am sure the mini will be fab whenever you manage to get your hands on it.

Top tip ..... Front splitter is LOW to the ground so watch out when leaving the front of Murrays for those who are signing up on the dotted line.

Hopefully the front splitter isn't any lower than the front of a 340R/Exige S2 which both struggled with the speed bumps at my house :?

I thought the pool/jelly idea was a dead cert !!! Just thought we needed to get the web page hosting sorted out and the cash will come flowing in.

Must admit we can't wait till March as I suspect that it will be a very long wait.

I think the contemplation on the options will be a long, long discussion. However I think the essentials (for enjoyment and resale) are:
Air Conditioning
Race Pack
Rear Parking Sensors

However still struggling with:
Heated seats - will you really use the car when its balmy outside or essential for those unwarranted roof off moments/resale
Convenience Pack - think its required but bit cheeky of Lotus forced you down this route for essentially an ipod connection.

Would be interested to hear what other guys have gone for?

Might be worth starting a new thread for the order specs!

My spec;
Premium sport pack with Suedetex
Red contrast stitching
Air con
Race pack
Convenience pack - expensive but nice to have the iPod connection as George mentioned
Heated seats - really not essential but at £350 it's not too much against the overall cost of the car
Reversing sensors
Diamond cut alloys
note- red or black brake callipers is a no cost option.

My spec is exactly the same as the one above...(red callipers, red stitching)
