Lotus Factory colours link?

Post by r055 » Sat Sep 16, 2006 12:11 pm

Does anyone know if there's a website showing all of the colours elises were made in?
I'm looking at an elise just now which is a really dark green, but i only thought they came in racing green.

I am pretty sure lotus would spary an s1 in any DuPont colour. I am not sure where I read this, but it rings a bell.

edited cos I found it - on http://www.elises.co.uk
Metallic Paint
The metallic paint option costs £690. The best place to see the various colours is the Lotus Cars web site. The Elise Sport is available in Lime Green. Lotus will paint your Elise in any colour you want for £1600 so long as the colour is from the Dupont Chromax paint range. I've gone for 'new aluminium' which I think shows of the cars curves and features best. Since all colours have a grey primer it's also the best colour at hiding stone chips.

i doubt its that fancy actually! :?
its a budget S1 on ebay - just put a bid down since there's no reserve- There's not much description to go by. Might take a wander down to cumbria today or tomorrow with the good ol' SE buyer's guide.

I have seen that car before on SELOC when the person had the ostrich retrim done.

They look pretty white so the chances of them being kept clean would be slim!
