Snow

Post by flyingscot68 » Thu Jan 17, 2013 8:29 pm

They're reporting that train operators down south are already canceling services tomorrow because it's going to snow!

Am I the only one who thinks this whole county has gone soft? I don't remember any panic when we used to get lots of snow every winter, people just got on with it.
Our European friends in Germany, Austria, Finland etc. must be laughing their arses off at us.

Despair..........

I think it's more to do with the predicted volume i.e. up to 12" in parts of South Wales that will cause the problems. Looks like we are getting off pretty lightly up here :thumbsup

Was supposed to be in London in the morning for a meeting which has been canceled for fear the country can't cope if we get a little snow!!! We are defiantly soft.

I think it was South West trains running in to London, the Welsh are probably just looking out their hats and waxing the runners on their sledges :thumbsup
