New tyres bedding in time

Post by C7Steve » Tue Jul 16, 2013 5:28 pm

Getting new tyres fitted all round next week and was wondering what the bedding in time is roughly?

100 miles or is it closer to 500?

Tyres Yoko AD07.

Modern tyres need very little bedding in, on the proviso that the waxy surface can catch you out initially, but should be gone between 50 and 100 miles.

I doubt even my legs can put the same traction requirements through the tyres as the internal combustion engine
