Or you could say Rory Byrne won penning Schumacher's Benettons, and then won penning Schumacher's Ferraris :blackeye It's a little like Vettel moving to McLaren and then beng given a blank cheque book to persuade Newey (and others) to join him when he realises how bad the car is.

Pretty impressive actually, plenty of wins, sure he beat his team mates most of the time even when featuring in less races... Except Di Resta beat him with the same car just before getting into Formula 1. He comfortably beat Torro Rosso team mate Bourdais before going to Red Bull as well.

Vettel used to be quite a likeable, funny and humble young driver. But now I don't find him as likeable, he's changed as the titles have rolled by. H'es quite an arrogant young man now and the greed for more wins, drivers titles, records and some decisions is probably losing him friends. I think the car he's driving would make a lot of drivers on the grid a world champion, but the domination is possibly down to him being also being a talented driver.

I like him and I like Newey's ability to put the package together.

What I don't like is what it's done to racing.

I'd like to mix it up - Vettel in a Marussia, a bit like the NFL draft pick :D

Vettel + RB + Kevlar tyres = the best combination on the grid. It all changed when the tyres changed.

Absolutely...... it would be one of the few things that would get us ALL watching! When i heard the difference between the Cateringvans and the top runners, it surprised me and made me wish that just for the last race even, there was a complete grid reversal! Maybe after Vettel had won it, they froze the points and did a swap for the last few races!

Would have cost Vettel a lot less in donut fines!

Vettel the person: thought he was boring at first, then quite funny, then that whole multi 21 I thought ok hes out for himself, but then that "if I had the choice I would do it again, Mark doesnt deserve it" has made me dislike him. I wont change my mind again.

Vettel the driver: clever, learns, takes advantage of the machinery - thats to be admired. Race craft isnt as good as some others, but then some others dont understand their car as well.

Vettel the Champion: right place, right time. But then you have to be. Senna, for example, set alight our imaginations with seat-of-pants racing. Schuie made us snore. Vettel is more like Schuie. You can respect them, but not love them.

Conclusion, funny guy turned sour, trusts and understands his car, wont get loved.

I used to be a big f1 fan. Can't be arsed much now and not just because of vettel. I still like the f1 channel build up and technical stuff though. Not so fussed about the racing after the first 2 laps. It's too long, too strategic and too boring! I'd like to see flag to flag races of maybe 60-90mins. No pit stops, no drs type gimmicks, no driver to pit comms( no more pit telling drivers to slow down/let someone past, no more Hamilton moaning like a *****, no more vettel celebrating like a ****!)
Other than that it's great! :D
