Whats it roughly worth?

Post by Kugaman1 » Mon Jan 27, 2014 10:40 pm

Ive just ordered a new BMW m135i and Im not sure whether or not to keep the Lotus.

Just wondering what you guys realistically think its worth in a private sale?

Its a 2002 s2 in silver, done a genuine 21000 miles and is in 9 out of 10 condition.

A few small paint bubbles under the fibreglass all pretty minor.
The only known issue of any sort at all is the heating fan - it works great but is noisy, I think the bearing in the fan has failed.

Car is taxed for a year and MOT to June.
It has recently had a new cambelt, brake service and the usual oil and filter service. Its also had new battery and starter motor, new headlight bulbs, a few broken clips replaced and a rub down/rust treat and paint of wishbones.

Is has a part service history as the last dealer- peter smith sports cars? Lost the history. It has all MOT certs to verify the mileage.

Its the bog standard 120bhp k series.

Looking for some idea what to put it up for to get a fast sale if I decide to give up my garage for the BMW.

Thoughts appreciated! O its also got 4 new Bridgestone tyres fitted a few miles ago.

Offers seriously considered.....can post photos for anyone interested...
