Seen them advertised in Evo magazine this month.

I think from the brief investigation that I performed on Defenders they were at the cheaper end of the Defender customisation (where Twisted is obviously at the top but you pay your price for tiwsted)

There is also http://www.defendericon.com/stock.php as well.

I'll knock 25% off the v8

Only fair as 25% of the chassis fell off

Actually the prices for tarted up defenders is getting fcuk stupid

20 grand for a 300tdi 110 with a new chassis and a respray

That is nuts

You could buy one and get a good garage to do the same for half that price

Agree absolutely Thinfourth. I can’t for the life of me understand why people pay the sums they do for these cars.

I have owned most defender variants. 200TDI, 300TDI, TD5, TDCI. What I can say is that LR didn’t ever make them worse. The newer ones are better than the old ones.

I think you should decide what you want to spend and buy the newest, lowest mileage car in the best condition you can for your budget. That doesn’t guarantee you a good one but I think it maximises your chances. In other words do exactly what most people would do when buying any “normal” car.
