A quad rotor twin turbo rotary or a gas turbine ftw :thumbsup
A RR Gem engine off a Lynx helicopter would fit nicely and 1000 SHP

Nothing on 'bay :(

A RR Gem would be good, 1000 shp, 1mx0.5m, <200kg and will run on kerosene, diesel or petrol.
Will need a good gearbox though...

Hey Rich, do you still have your Esprit, how are you getting along with it if you do? Not heard much about it in a while, loved the previous updates!

:thumbsup Still here just far too much else going on :(

I've had a falling out with the Esprit as it happens as it tried to kill me a few weeks ago.

I changed the brake pads and wheel bearings and disturbed the ABS sensors back end of last year but didn't get to drive it much aside form short test runs.

On a trip out it randomly decided that I was obviously having a skid and slammed on the NS front brake... which is exciting in traffic on a narrow country lane at 50.... After that it reported the ABS had failed (Light on) and the brakes improved dramatically (better than normal)

So it's now parked awaiting a well documented ABS-octomy.
Plus it was tax time and the wx has been crap so I sorned it. (Got the Porsche and Esprit tax due in the same month :? )

Load of folk disconnected the ABS on the Esprits, known to be iffy at best! glad you're OK and hopefully you'll make up and be best buds again soon!
