With a fair day forecast and no chores to do at home, I took the Elise out for a post-winter blast. Left Edinburgh at 8:30 and headed north, stopping for coffee and a bacon roll at Peggy Scott's at Finavon. Headed to Fettercairn and over the Cairn O'Mount to Banchory then on to Dyce and out the A947 to Banff, where I used to live. Carried on through Foggie to Huntly, then down Strathdon and over to Ballater for lunch. Continued down the A93 through Braemar to Blairgowrie then Perth and home. It was about 340 miles, quite blowy but sunny and a pleasure to enjoy open air motoring again after the winter.
So where was everyone else - in 9 hours of motoring on some very driveable, lightly trafficked roads I didn't see 1 other Lotus?

I haven't seen a Lotus (other than passing MMC on the train) since August 2013 !!! ... and even that was Highlanders write off on a flat bed.

I did the Glen Clova loop last Sunday, but in the Panda, Lotus had no tax and illegal rear tyres at the moment.
ARB to fit as well then a fresh geo and hopefully some decent weather in April!!
