Caterham / Renault joint venture has been canned apparently although they will both still be bringing out new cars - could get messy!!

Caterham is a niche product, but this last year has seen an attempt to market it like a mainstream product. IMHO a real miss-match of owners aspirations and the brand identity. Just hope Caterham survives the ordeal

Now confirmed that the joint venture is scrapped, they will both still be bringing out cars but no word on if they will share design

My thoughts are similar, David. Specifically concerning their aspirations to expand from Se7en-only. Seems a risky folly.
