A shame they didnt have prices in the comparison chart, the Exige would probably be 50% cheaper & on that basis the comparison should be with a V6 Exige

It is, despite many many flaws, a car that gives a glimpse of what's coming due to emissions regs in EU and elsewhere. Engine might not be to everyone's taste but you'd better get used to it

Is that really the weight of an S2?

Yep - 912 kg (2006 lbs or 18cwt if you're old enough to remember that way of measuring weight) when i looked at my handbook the other day.
