To be fair to the owner of the one I was going to get, I still have first dibs but I can't have it for another month or so, maybe more, then I'll have to commence a rebuld which might take me past the summer? So the ball is kinda in my court as it stands. :D

A KR1 head is a very complimentary improvement to original K series characteristics, without resorting to different cam profiles.

Dynoplot site shows some around 147hp, but depends on the quality of the engine you are starting with.

This wouldn't be in Shieldhill Falkirk by any chance?

If so, it's across from my Mum and Dad's house. Top bloke, unsure of who done the work but the car was never tracked or driven hard in the time he's owned it.

Yeah, over 100k on that one there is a red one too same kinda cash, the orange one however had a Kiwi Rog head, Nitron SS, Larrini, Piper 4-2-1, Advans, etc etc, looked really well spec'd and only 51K miles, no history to talk of but I know the guy who serviced it and didn't supply any paperwork lol... I think with a bit of time I could have pulled together a bit of service history for it...

Sold too quick for me to move on as I was away in Spain when the advert went live, spoke to the seller twice but missed out on it..... Gutted!

I think his was the guy that worked at the swimming complex in Grangemouth, I spoke to him a few times before when he was getting the nitrons etc fitted, really nice guy and It seemed a good honest car. Great price for a decent spec and rare colour too, I'm glad I didn't see the advert or I would have been tempted

Tempted wouldn't have cut it, you'd have had to move on it as soon as you saw it lol

When a car is that cheap its a case of transferring a deposit by faster payment instantly and arranging to collect asap. I know, I've done it a few times. Last one I bought was £4k.

Serviced by a Lotus specialist prolific for not giving paperwork and subsequently going out of business so no documented history to talk of, thus devaluing the car.....
