Cross post it to SE1 as I am sure Tut had them for a while.

I had them on my megablade and they were FAB. Really really good and highly recommended by lots of folk (road drivers and track enthusiasts alike) in the Westie / Caterham fraternity Dunno about on an elise tho so probably no help to you lol.

Not as grippy as A048s but harder wearing and not as £xpensive.

Better than 'road' tyres though...

I have R888's on mine, probably not as grippy as the AO48's but you would have to go direct from one tyre to the next on track to notice any difference.

For the price and extended mileage I'll probably stick with them.

Robin's just fitted a set to the 135R.
I'll see how he gets on with them before deciding to buy them or 48s next year.

R888s are a lot cheaper

I first fitted them about four years ago to replace Maxsports, and was very impressed with them.

At KH, I was lapping with Ians GT3RS and Jasons YAHOO TVR in the dry, but when the rain came down, I was well ahead of them. Went through about three sets, but there is a proviso, when the tread gets down to 2mm, and you only start off with 5, they are useless in the wet.
