Lotus shop clothing sizes

Post by dezzy » Thu Oct 12, 2006 10:56 am

I'm thinking of buying this ski jacket from the Lotus webstore: http://www.lotuscarswebstore.co.uk/inde ... ductid=312

I'm off skiing at New Year and it would also be a general winter jacket (to keep me warm when the roof is off in the winter :D ). I think it's a really good price for a ski jacket.

Can anyone here who has bought Lotus clothing advise on whether their stuff is generally large/small made? I phoned up and the guy said they didn't have chest sizes on the label. He measured a large and it was 48" chest on the outside, but that might be completely different from the real chest size.

I think it's an ok price for a jacket. If you intend skiing at New Year then I wouldn't spend my cash on that. Depending where you go it'll be bloody cold (-20 last time I was in France at New Year) and you really do get what you pay for when it comes to ski/outdoor clothing.

bloody 'ell; for a technical jacket that's cheap!!

Always be wary of cheapness in technical jackets - you gets what you pays for and that may be form over function :? Always a gamble when you can't try them on. Always handy IMO to get one you can zipe a gillet into too :thumbsup
