Will present owners be able to get an upgrade to the 400hp when the new model comes out?

i take it you are talking V6?

you can do it already. http://komo-tec.com/Shop/en/Exige/MK3-T ... er-phases/

I thought the gearbox was a weak point, have they done anything to the Evora 400 to change this?

Yes the V6, though I could not determine whether Lotus are going to put out the Exige S V6 with 400hp or whether it will be an option.

used to always think Komotec were so expensive but the exchange rate really is helping.

Tut I think when the Evora 400 was released at geneva they spoke about offerring the 400 on new exige V6 but not as an upgrade. Too many changes such as intercoolers pipework etc. Not 100% sure though just memory.

Not straightforward to drop Evora 400 powertrain into Exige as it's intercooled. 350PS cars can't be upgraded

Evora 400 gearbox much revised

Komotec upgrade popular but voids the warranty

Cheers

Torque is only slightly higher though, like 5lb/ft or something, so I wonder if any changes were to improve shift quality / speed / accuracy than actual torque capacity..
