Have a quote now to get the road black topped from where the Councils hard top adopted stretch ends all the way upto the house.

At present it is doubtful if an Elise could make it, though it is no problem for the Audi TT.

Surely the council will pay for this, to ensure you can get your disabled scooter down to the bus. :)

Tut, I moved house a few months back. The upstairs bathroom tap wasn't running hot water.... but after reading this I don't think I'll complain.

You don't do things by half's :D , glad it's all sorted and your over the worst of it.

Hope all is well.

Great minds Kerry.........actually thought of trying that but the reply would probably be that I should not have bought it.

However that will not stop me trying it.

Only saw a photo of the outside Alan, but it looked an impressive place.

Any problems or is all going well?

Seems like yesterday Ross...

Funds have been paid over to his Solicitor this afternoon, so should be in his account by tomorrow morning. He is driving down South on Friday, so we should be able to get on with our lives again.

That's quite a story there Tut, you seem to have a knack for this sort of thing ;-)
Glad it looks to be working out OK though.
Out of interest, just pulled this off the internet

Will probably let it drop now Kenny, but will be going down to introduce myself to him, in the nicest possible way of course. Already arranging 6' deer fencing around our house/field area to make sure that he can not get into his fields. In the meantime all doors are locked on the inside so Khan cannot pull off the handle trick again.

Going to arrange a Tut End/S_E event again after September, would be a different format, but any excuse to keep some form of TT together and not let the friendships built up over the years slip away.

Lol. You lead a complicated life tut. I did have to read twice that you'd moved into the house you were buying and we're living with the owner before buying it. We had a bit of a trial moving into our new place and are still arguing with the developer over the field of weeds, rubble, and chipped trees that was supposed to be a paddock for two old nags which is about to get legal. Small beer by comparison. That said, I met with their MD the other day and pointed out to him that he still has the other seven barns to sell and we talk to everyone that visits the development...we don't mind having the run of the place to ourselves...

I had my own tut moment at the weekend. We have a free range chicken farm at the bottom of the garden although the buzzards tend to make the chickens less free range. It has an electric fence around the perimeter. We were playing with an Aerobie which can fly hundreds of feet if you throw it right and I managed to launch into the field. The fence is a high wobbly affair so unclimbable. Undeterred by this I went and got my aluminium ladders and put them on the other side of the fence, shimmied up a tree and climbed down the other side avoiding the leccy fence. I retrieved the Aerobie and chucked back to my son. Unbeknown to me Ben had pulled the ladders closer to the electric fence such that when I stood on them they tipped towards it touching it. Bugger me it was chuffing sore. I chased him round our field of weeds, tripped and fell into nettles. I thought Ben was going to wet himself he was laughing so hard. Kids! No respect.
