I love the Evora's and it was actually an Evora S I was initially after when I ended up buying the Exige. If they didn't share the same gearbox then an Evora would probably be top of my list too.

When you put it like that Cambell you do make a very valid point to be fair.

Listen to Campbell, Evora is the answer you're all after newer the better as the quality has been stepped up with newer cars. The 400 is going to be a hard act to follow if it's in budget as it is allot of performance for the money.

MY12 ( which was from mid 2011?) is revised interior trim and I believe there was greater emphasis on quality control at the factory from 11/12. I didn't have issue with my 2010 car but the 2015 car somehow just feels 'better' :?

Simon,

It's PDK and has the Turbo II alloys but may be worth a call once you have decided on the gearbox :)

Agreed, mine is a 2010 with 40k on the clock and i've only had one serious problem in a year and 10k miles and that was with the air con. Other issues were the reversing camera failing and my undertray vibrating loose.

Newer cars feel a bit nicer and have details changes (clutch rest, firmer seats, straight stiching etc) but you'd genuinely think mine was a nearly new car if you didnt know (quote nearly every passenger i've had)

Both welcome to have a poke around the car if you want :thumbsup
Focus ST estate, i3s and more pushbikes than strictly necessary.

....did i ever tell you about the Evora and VX220 i used to own?

But when you drive a 911, you are just a cock with a Porsche ;-) (sorry) and no one lets you out of junctions

Evora is a cracking car and I also miss mine sometimes. However if you want to drive Pork and not look like a cock, have you thought about an older one? Porsche 964/993 are easily liveable with everyday and with the mileage you are doing will not be a massive issue.

Add the fact that they are increasing in value makes more financial sense. There are potential issues and additional upkeep but enough specialist in Edinburgh to take them to?

Potential option could be 993 C2 Targa so you get a bit of open top motoring but the civility of a coupe
