Grexit.

Post by pete » Sun Jul 05, 2015 9:30 pm

So if they leave how cheap will teh things of Greece become?

Next year's holiday destination of choice?

Or would it be a good idea to spend a couple of weeks in the islands this summer boat/house/island shopping?

Anyone have any spare hard currency?

Suggest spending holiday time in Scotland (no Euros required) :-) Katie and I went to Tunisia just after we were married, I think ... it was sh*t ... but we met people that we would go on to be good friends with forever! I got food poisoning (well, gastric bacterial infection) - took 2 weeks to recover 8-) Longest I have ever been off work in 25 years, I think!

That said I think there will be a good business in selling Euros to Greece ... but you'll need to work out what to take in exchange. There is only so much yoghurt/feta/olives you can want ... maybe a good moment to buy up some shipping businesses?

Cheers,
Robin
