Big favour asked

Post by tut » Fri Jul 24, 2015 8:47 am

Verian and I are going to Scotty and Lindsay's wedding on Saturday 1st August, and as all the kennels around here are fully booked our local farmers daughter was going to dog sit for us overnight, but she is now working.

If any of my dear, wonderful friends on here were able to help out then I promise that I will remember them in my will.

Tut,

I would be delighted to help you out if I can, my girlfriend and I were looking at getting out of Edinburgh and heading north next weekend and she's been desperate for some canine company since our dog passed away at the end of last year.
I've not booked anything yet but I'm sure we could get a dog friendly B and B or cottage somewhere.
If anyone else is reading this and needs a dog looked after at any time, give me a shout as I'd be delighted to help out if I can, I remember what a pain it was to get people to look after Elvis when I was going away.

That is unforgivable........ :D

That would be great G, but hopefully you would want to stay at our new house and not a B&B. Dont know if you read the thread but we are in a beautiful location on top of a hill near Keith, with 10 acres of fields and woodland around us. If you wanted to you could stay longer than just the Saturday, as everyone knows any house that begins with a Tut is an open one and friends are always welcome to drop in or stay.

We have a GSD and a smaller Heinz 57, what Craig is saying is that Khan is a very friendly dog, gets very excited when family and friends visit and insists on jumping up and licking their face, but he is completely non aggressive except to other dogs and sheep. Zara will just love you to death. If you like dogs I guarantee that you will all be friends, except maybe for when he tries to sleep on your beds.

If that fits in with your plans, then as I say you would be most welcome as house guests as well as dog sitters.

Hey David, Looking forward to meeting Frank! - has he got a favourite bar in Stockbridge? Elvis was a bit old school and loved the Bailie!
Give me a shout any time he needs some babysitting.
