WRT the faded trim, is there not some detailers' trick where you apply heat (heat gun I think) to the surface of the plastic to bring it up like new? .... (non detailer faction) :roll:

Yeah saw that on-line before, did a little on the mini arch before and was hard going with a hairdryer outside (Didn't seem to do much), I'll remove the vents and sit inside with some time and do that, then pop some of the oil on them to see it that works, I'll pop some pics up if it works ;)

Hi Mark,

Congrats on the new purchase. I'm currently using Eastwood Plastic Resurfacer on all the faded 26 year old plastic parts on my Esprit. Its certainly not cheap at £30 a can but it certainly brings them up looking good as new.

Try peanut butter on the black plastic. Make sure you use smooth, not crunchy
