A very good programme. Never thought I'd say I want a diesel engine, but that Napier Deltic is quite a piece of engineering.

Thanks for the pointer from me too, really enjoyed the program. One thing I did think was a bit odd was that there was no mention of the development of turbocharging technology which was pretty instrumental in the widespread adoption of diesel cars. I remember a mate of mine having a Merc 190 normally aspirated diesel - never broke down but you needed to plan any overtaking manoeuvres a day in advance :)
