No we're talking about the keyboard button above the return key that deletes the last character you typed.

Ah so, never used it as I always use the top arrows.

Just tried and it does not work in Safari or Chrome.

If you're filling in a text box in a form on a web page, and you hit backspace, it will delete the text you typed. If you click outside the textbox and hit backspace you'll go back a page. Aparently people went back a page lots when they meant to undo the text, and had fill in entire forms again, and so everyone has agreed that backspace is a silly idea for navigation.

Yes, you can work around it for now with plugins, but it won't be back coming as a feature, so I would suggest just getting used to not having it instead.

I was going to say exactly that. The number of times I've hit backspace when I meant enter and then had to start over is quite a lot.

Hahaha...

I stupidly mounted the camera to the rear window which i'd forgotten was very loose and in need of a new seal. So the videos are only available in full on vibratey shoogly rattle your teeth out mode or the new 'improved' jelly wobble rolling shutter mode....

I'll upload the one of me being held up by a black V6 for a whole session later ;)

There's an extension that fixes it / breaks it again*.

It wouldn't be so bad if they replaced it with a single button press, or at least a single handed shortcut, ALT+LEFT is horrendous, it's really annoying me, though I'm now down to 3 presses on average before I realise it's not Chrome being crap and unresponsive...
